The Caterpillar’s Dream

My parents were both alcoholics. As a child, I never had hope.  This book gives children hope. – Tina

The Caterpillar’s Dream is an adorable rhyming story. The book gently encourages your child to appreciate the world and reach for his dreams. The cute cover and adorable illustrations will captivate your young reader. This story is so sweet that you’ll be sitting down and reading it together time and again, and the small size will allow you to tuck it into your purse to take with you to meetings and doctor’s office visits. A fun and inspiring story! – Cheryl C. Malandrinos, freelance writer

 Color Me Happy!

This is a heart warming book about a little girl whose best friend moved away. Sadie is sad, but has an idea. Her idea cheers her up in a very colorful way. You must read it to see what she does. I gave this book to my grand daughter whose friend moved away. It did cheer her up. Thank you Sally M. Harris for your ability to warm hearts and lift spirits! – Carolyn Gray

A series of events leave Sadie feeling more and more sad and blue. Nothing seems to cheer her up until she has an idea. Sadie’s actions turn things around and fill her day.

This delightful picture book, written in rhyme, is a perfect way to show children how to be proactive in changing your mood when you are feeling down. At the same time it will help children learn their colors. I am sure this story will get many requests for “read it again” and will have children running to get their paints so they can color their own day.

Cecilia’s illustrations are sweet and colorful. They perfectly portray the story.

 Rainbow Nights

In Rainbow Nights a little boy ends his day and lays his head to rest. But Dreamland awaits and “Dreamland’s like a vacation. Every night’s a celebration.”

The little boy finds there are so many things to do in dreamland– you can use your imagination to raise honey bees, plant a patch of perfect peas, ride a rocket ship, or fly to the nearest star. He finds Dreamland’s busy with swirling colors and flashing lights, tuba music and rainbow nights.

The rhyming text makes this a beautiful read-aloud for bed. Children will be excited to drift off into their own dreamland as they experience the vivid colors and wild imagination of Rainbow Nights. – Lori Calabrese, Children’s Books Examiner

Our three year old loves Rainbow Nights.  He wants it read every night, and especially likes the rocket ship and cute little cat!  It’s made tucking him at night easier- thank you so much! – Candy R.
